California Veterinary Emergency Team (CVET) Helps to rescue animals affected by California disasters when they strike, and provides a variety of planning support to local jurisdictions in an effort to increase the preparedness and resiliency of local communities. Visit CVET Oiled Wildlife Care Network (OWCN) A collaborative effort to rescue and rehabilitate oiled wildlife in California, while also providing regional, national, and international readiness and response activities to oil spills. Visit OWCN Wildlife Disaster Network (WDN) Aids wildlife in need during disaster situations in partnership with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife's Wildlife Health Lab. WDN also serves as the centralized hotline to connect public sightings with first responders. Visit WDN International Animal Welfare Training Initiative (IAWTI) Facilitates training, education and dialogue for animal welfare to improve animal wellbeing.
