UC Davis’ Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital admits patients referred from the field by the Veterinary Emergency Response Team (VERT). Patient care is 100% philanthropically funded by the Veterinary Catastrophic Need Fund, which has supported the care of burned animals from cats to alpacas.
