The California Veterinary Medical Foundation Student Scholarship Award
Tiffany Liem (Class of 2021) earned the California Veterinary Medical Foundation Student Scholarship Award which is awarded to a veterinary student who showed outstanding service in veterinary medicine at city or county shelters and/or during a California disaster response effort. Tiffany has dedicated over 10 years of continual volunteering effort to the Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control Centers. In addition, she aided in the Camp Fire disaster relief in 2018 as a sVERT member for both small and large animals displaced by the fire. Deployment activities included but not limited to burn treatment, shelter establishment, and reunification of pets with owners.
